Brandon Flowers va lansa noul sau album solo, “The Desired Effect”, alaturi de Island Records, pe 19 mai 2015. Cel de-al doilea album solo din cariera solistului trupei The Killers, vine ca un follow-up al primului material discografic, “Flamingo”, lansat in 2010. “The Desired Effect” il are ca producator pe Ariel Rechtshaid, cunoscut pentru colaborarile sale cu Haim, Vampire Weekend sau Sky Ferreira, alaturi de care Brandon Flowers a lucrat la productia celor 10 piese ce compun noul album. Cei doi au creat un sound synthpop/new wave extrem de interesant dar, in acelasi timp, au pastrat intact stilul indie rock adoptat de Brandon pana acum.
Primul single, "Can’t Deny My Love", este deja disponibil la toti partenerii digitali (iTunes, Deezer, Zonga, Google Play, Spotify), iar videoclipul ce ii are ca protagonisti pe Richard Butler si Evan Rachel Wood a fost lansat la inceputul acestei saptamani:http://umusic.ly/MyLove.VEVO <http://umusic.ly/MyLove.VEVO> .
Cea mai mare parte a albumului a fost inregistrata in studioul celor de la The Killers, Battle Born Studios din Las Vegas, iar printre colaboratori se numara Kenny Arnof, Angel Deradoorian (The Dirty Projectors), Neil Tennant (Pet Shop Boys), Danielle Haim (Haim), Ronnie Vannucci Jr. (The Killers).
